Frodo Baggins: The main protagonist in the LOTR trilogy. He is a hobbit with a bad habit of getting into mischief. He is a bit of a sissy as far as protagonists go. Always whining and complaining about how the ring he chose to bear has become his burden. He proves that big things come in small packages. "You are full of surprises, Master Baggins," Gimli declares after Frodo's life is saved by the mithril.
Gandalf: Dumbledore's cousin (just kidding). No. Just... no. He is a wizard who dies and comes back as Galdalf the Grey. Not a spoiler. Everybody knows.
