Characters from the Fantasy Novel 'The Jewels of the Ishamah.'
Kish-rin: Kish-rin is one of the main characters (if not THE main character) in Christopher M. Nilsson's ancient fantasy adventure thriller 'The Jewels of the Ishamah.' He is a reluctant but eager 20-year-old young man who faces the challenge of overcoming his reluctance and faces his inner fears in order to defend the ancient secret his clan guards--the secret relics known as the Ishamah jewels. In order to become a chief guardian over the jewel of Mu (the water jewel) he must find himself and face his innermost fears.
Hamarrish: Hamarrish is a rough around the edges, churlish, and physically strong and burly character in 'The Jewels of the Ishamah' fantasy novel. He has a troubling past and can be distant with other people, but is very dedicated to guarding the jewel of Ki (the earth jewel) with honor as the chief guardian over this jewel. He is a friend to an older mentor named Narubtum of the Mu clan.
Arwia: Arwia is the chief guardian of the Im clan and guards the Im jewel (the wind jewel). She is headstrong and matter-of-fact in her mannerisms. She was once referred to as a 'sand witch' of the desert by superstitious bandits who feared her power.
Awilasu: Awilasu is chief guardian over the Asu jewel (the sky jewel) of the Ishamah clan. He is dedicated enough to keep close watch over the power of the jewel he guards high in the mountainous highlands. It is rumored that the Tablet of Destiny itself is hidden away within the chamber where the jewel of Asu is housed. Whether it is the real tablet or merely a fake in order to create a diversion for those who seek its divine power remains a mystery.
